Role: Buy Side Investment Analyst
Reporting to: Investment Director
Experience: 2-3 years of Investment Banking, Private Equity or reputed buy side experience is a pre-requisite
Skills: Very good command over MS Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (pitch-books).
In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, a successful candidate should have strong communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effective reports in English and a desire to work in a high-performance environment, often under pressure.
A Master's degree in a finance related course and prior investment banking or comparable experience (advisory or corporate banking) is a prerequisite, as well as solid knowledge of accounting and finance.
Responsibilities:
Analyst work will include financial analysis, financial modeling, research, competitive analysis, development of client presentations and reports, assistance in the execution of transactions, and drafting of memoranda for internal and external use.
Analysts may also work on a wide range of financing transactions including senior corporate debt, acquisition financing, real estate, restructurings, recapitalizations and mezzanine products.
