Position : Business Development - Lead / Associate Manager

Job Function: Sales, Business Development

Purpose :

The Manager of Business Development will plan and implement penetration strategies in order to cultivate and capture new business opportunities within the IT Services markets that enable Above to exceed revenue and profit expectations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in this market and provide key insights to the cross-functional executive management team.

Principle Accountabilities :

- Leverage extensive industry relationships to penetrate ABOVE services into the network markets.

- Architect and communicate sales strategy for these markets.

- Analyze and understand customer strategies, future product plans, and expansion activities to develop penetration strategies for new business opportunities.

- Expertly cultivate customer relationships, develop & deliver effective proposals, and negotiate contracts to capture profitable new business.

- Effectively brief and leverage senior executives on strategy and tactics to enhance customer relationships and consummate deals.

- Successfully negotiate difficult and/or critical business matters, through interaction with senior executives both internal and external.

- Work with marketing to identify suitable communication channels to best engage potential customers on ABOVE- message.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.

- 4-8 years of progressive experience in sales / business development roles in the IT Services / Products / Projects space.

- Extensive experience in IT Services market sales, required.

- Knowledge of Software development, program management and operations functions, and strong financial acumen.

- Dynamic builder of relationships with customers, with track record of identifying new areas of opportunity and negotiating business deals for mutual benefit.

- Track record in high revenue profitable sales to customers in the IT Services markets.

- An effective communicator & presenter with customers, executives, peers, and subordinates.

- Well versed in all MS Office applications.
