1. PURPOSE OF ROLE :

This role will work in the L&D Solutions function, creating best in class learning experiences that serve to enhance the performance of our colleagues across the organization.

- Partner with business and/or L&D Managers to gather and validate learning requirements

- Analyze, design, and develop learning curricula and courses to improve workforce performance

- Assess the learning outcomes, understand performance expectations and gaps, and generate L&D insights after implementation

- Work under minimal supervision on complex projects, managing senior stakeholders, and liaising across teams to deliver according to plan

- Manage processes to enable cross-zone content sharing

2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Establish processes and procedures to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the service offering, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and parity with industrial best practices.

- Collaborate with internal business partners to validate that curriculum solutions align to business priorities and strategy for operational effectiveness

- Design and develop e-learning/in-person learning assets using contemporary ID methodologies and tools

- Integrate current innovative and advanced learning technology into standard design framework

- Establish collaborative and trusted relationships with internal/external stakeholders and/or providers of learning solutions, establishing credibility as a partner to the business

- Develop and manages timelines and milestones

- Complete peer to peer reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and appropriate use of course content guidelines.

- Develop tools and processes to measure effectiveness of curriculum solutions and learner performance to ensure solutions meet employee skill development requirements.

- Engage third party vendor relationships to provide learning solutions to specific communities

- Assemble key participants & guides and facilitates cross functional teams in the strategy development and implementation of business solutions

- Acquire and apply advanced knowledge of the business, its products and processes

- Synthesize analyses, identify root cause(s), and provide recommendations that influence business solutions

- Proactively identify opportunities and potential solutions

- Serve as a mentor to peers and team members for assigned area of responsibility

- Serve as a resource to team members on escalated issues of an unusual nature

- Provide insight and guides management on issues

- Perform other duties as assigned

4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS :

Professional qualifications and accreditations/memberships :

- Qualification in Instructional Design preferable

Previous work experience :

Professional experience of minimum 5 years in the Learning domain, and minimum 3 years as an Instructional Designer

- Expertise in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles

- Familiarity with contemporary learning practices, innovative learning technologies

- Ability to write engaging content, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts for various delivery modes

Language skills : Must have very strong English written and verbal communication skills

IT/Other skills :

MS Office :


- Must have strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

- Proficiency in the following e-learning authoring tools:

- Articulate 360

- Captivate

- Visual Design skills; ability to storyboard

- Proficiency in HTML / CSS/ Javascript/JQuery/Bootstrap/PHP

- Proficiency in video creating software such as Adobe After Effects, Vyond and Apple Movie maker

- Familiarity with LMS platforms, content aggregators, virtual classroom
