ABDs flagship brand, Officers Choice is one of the largest-selling whisky brands in the world and is one of the largest spirits brands exported out of India, selling in 23 countries across the globe.

Sterling Reserve, our premium offering, continues to scale new heights with its impeccable blend while OC Blue remains a fan favourite in the deluxe whisky segment.

Other brands in our portfolio include Officers Choice Black, Sterling Reserve B10, Sterling Reserve B7, Sterling Reserve cola mix, ICONIQ White, X&O Barrel, Jolly Roger Rum, Class 21, Officers Choice Brandy, Lord & Master Brandy, Kyron Premium Brandy, Zoya Gin & Arthaus.

Purpose of the role:

- The Manage Special Accounts will be responsible for driving sales and brand presence in high-end bars, restaurants, starred hotels, and other high-profile on-premise venues.

- This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that the brand is well-represented in all identified on-premise locations.

- The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the alcobev industry, excellent negotiation skills, and have a passion for creating memorable experiences for consumers.

Detailed Responsibility:


Account Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key on-premise accounts, including high end bars, restaurants, hotels, Starred Properties and other high profile clubs & event venues.

- Regularly visit on-premise accounts to ensure brand visibility, product availability, and compliance with promotional standards.

- Focus on the width of distribution and expand the presence of the brand in the on-premise channel.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

- In consultation with Head - On Premise, develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the on-premise channel, with a focus on driving volume and market share.

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement promotional programs that enhance brand awareness and drive sales.

- Monitor sales performance against targets and in consultation with the Head - On Premise adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.

Brand Activation:

- Plan and execute brand activation events and promotions at identified on-premise locations to engage consumers and drive trial and conversion.

- Ensure that all on-premise activations are aligned with the brand's identity and marketing objectives.

- Work with the marketing team to develop point-of-sale materials, menus, and other collateral to support brand presence.

Training & Education:

- Train and educate on-premise staff (bartenders, servers, managers) on the brand's products, key selling points, and proper serving techniques.

- Provide ongoing support and training to ensure that staff can effectively promote the brand to consumers.

Market Intelligence:

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in consumer preferences within the on-premise channel.

- Provide regular feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to inform future strategies and initiatives.

Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare and submit monthly reports on sales performance, market conditions, and account activities.

- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Others:

- Willingness to travel frequently to visit accounts, attend events which would also include working late evenings.

- Passion for the alcohol beverage industry and a strong understanding of brand marketing.

Key Competencies:

Job-related (Functional/ Technical):


- Analytical ability: Analyze market data.

- Strong negotiation & relationship-building skills.

- Ability to work independently & manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

- Knowledge of local on-premise market dynamics & key players.

Experience:

- 5-10 years of experience.

- Experience in Key Accounts/ Institutionalized Sales in alcohol beverage industry will be preferred.

- Experience in F&B, hospitality, especially in bartending, event management preferred.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management within the alcobev industry, specifically in the on-premise channel.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- MBA preferred.
