Position Overview:


- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team in Mumbai.

- This role is pivotal in managing and supporting our financial operations.

- You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:


- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Accounting Support:


- Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, reconciling bank statements, and processing invoices.

Budgeting & Forecasting:


- Support the budgeting process and assist in financial forecasting.

Data Management:


- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Compliance:


- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.

Expense Management:


- Track and manage company expenses, including petty cash and employee reimbursements.

Financial Analysis:


- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.

Audit Preparation:


- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications:

Education:


- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:


- 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Skills:

- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
