Senior Manager - Digital Transformation/Commercial
Primary Purpose of Role:
- To lead planning and execution of the Digital Transformation Strategy across the Commercial Capabilities & Sales landscape. This would entail building a deep understanding of business problems, having knowledge of innovative technology solutions, and bringing them together to not just optimize but also completely transform the way we do business through disruptive thinking.
- The role would involve building a deep understanding of the route to market for every state, working closely with business teams for assessment study, implementation of technology, supporting existing business applications & embed SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for Commercial processes in relevant systems to ensure that all Business needs are met.
- End to end ownership of Sales Force Automation & Value Extraction
- Be the owner of the Digital Transformation Commercial portfolio under Technology & Analytics
Roles & Responsibilities:Demand Management:- Responsible for understanding project requirements and liaising with business process owners to ensure assessment study is completed as per project timelines.
- Responsible for developing functional requirement specification as per the business requirements; evaluating and finalizing the appropriate platform for the requirement/ liaising with current partner to execute the same
Product & Project Management:- Responsible for making project plans for new projects/change requests and ensuring the project is executed within the predetermined sprints/timelines and the budget allocated; ability to prioritize based on business requirements, technical assessments, and product roadmap
- Responsible for ensuring all the UI (User Interface) requirements are met.
Process Re-engineering:- Responsible for embedding SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) into business process and systems by preparing the required change requests and handing over to the development team
Project Delivery:- Responsible for UAT of new applications/change requests, closure of feedback and action logs
- Align testing with business for UAT (User Acceptance Training) and get the Release to Live Certificate before releasing the applications / Change requests to LIVE environment
- Responsible for roll out and implementation of applications in the relevant areas of work - NBD, RTM (Route to Market) and Sales
Service & Operations:- Responsible for appropriate handover of applications to business once the applications are developed and implemented, along with hyper care right after go-live
- Ensuring the systems are covered under the BCP (Business Continuity Plan)/ DRP (Disaster Recovery Planning) testing and tested on a yearly basis
- Responsible for preparing/developing the security and access levels and incorporating it for all system under the functional domain
Analytics:- Responsible for driving analytics with business teams
Commercial Solutions:- Responsible for identifying new opportunities in Commercial function, ideating, and exploring new innovative solutions in the market
Risk Assessment:- Owning seamless integrations and BAU (Business as Usual) state by tracking and pre-emptively solving for risks/ vulnerabilities. Few examples are product dependencies that are impacted by change, performance risks with scale/ new features, data privacy etc.
Education level and experience:- Management graduate in Sales & Marketing
- 3-4 years of domain experience preferred
Skills and/or knowledge:- Strong analytical and commercial modeling skills, skills in structured problem solving and analysis
- Commercial acumen and ability to deliver insights with impact
- Focused, detailed, and disciplined approach to tasks
- Ability to prioritize and strong organization skills
- Ability to work with a multi-disciplined team (Sales, RTM and Marketing)
- Stakeholder management and adept negotiation skills
- Basic tech knowledge preferred (SQL, APIs (Application Protocol Interface), tech layers, etc.)

- Communication - interact with stakeholders, build rapport, and have good two-way communications. Stakeholder management is paramount
