About the Role:
The role plays a critical part in establishing ABI as a great place to work from an employee experience standpoint. With the focus on improving HR processes and executing strategies for the growth and development of our people, this role will be responsible for partnering with the business to understand and resolve complex issues related to our people. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering projects defined by the People Director and People Senior Managers at GHQ India. The role will work with Managers and Directors of the functions they support with a view to enhance operational capability within the team. They will have ownership of driving the end-to-end People agenda for their scope.
Responsibilities:
- Own the People Agenda for their scope in GHQ India
- Work with Senior management to deploy the talent development strategy through various interventions and solutions.
- Position ABI as a key employer upholding the values of meritocracy, diversity & inclusion
- Use internal channels to effectively communicate policies, benefits, etc. that aid in employee growth and retention
- Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
- Resolve complex employee-related issues in partnership with line managers and business leads
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement and increase productivity and retention
- Provide HR policy guidance
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
Experience & Skills:
- Previous work experience required 2 + years of HR Business Partner experience and overall 5+ years of work in any discipline of human resources would be the bare minimum.
Personal attributes required:
- Must be willing to personally own and drive several initiatives
- Experience in working in a multi-national / multi-cultural / multi-time zone environment
- Proven ability to prioritize and work under pressure against tight & dynamic deadlines
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills are required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in senior executive settings and with confidential topics
- Indirect influence skills are also very important - the role will need to coordinate the work of people with whom they do not have a direct reporting relationship
- Should be skilled in organizing information and developing executive dashboards, and presenting to a range of audiences using a variety of mediums
- Attention to detail is very important in this role, as work output will be seen by large audiences.
- Ability to manage stakeholders within own scope
- Strong influencing skills and ability to effectively communicate with Directors and managers
Language skills required:
- Strong verbal and written English language skills required.
- A flair for language with the ability to craft ideas and plans that will help programs succeed
IT skills required:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
