Roles and Responsibilities:
SEO Lead will be responsible for the SEO strategy formulation, tasked with the improvement of the business's site visibility and raising the organic search rankings.
- Lead, coach and mentor the SEO team, ensuring the team has a vision and clear objectives
- Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to set targets priorities effectively and make decisions
- Write and validate SEO SOWs and scoping
- Convince, and work closely with other counter parts & stake holders (Engineers, Content writers, agencies)
- Collect and analyze data, run experiments, and identify trends and insights to achieve maximum impact organically
- Auditing and analyze, identify issues, find the root cause, and experiment with solutions at scale to improve SEO performance
- Expert in driving hyper-local growth and rank business listings in GMB, increase visibility in local SEO
- Collect daily, weekly & monthly data and reports on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspect
- Must have a proven track record of delivering high growth traffic for a business operating at scale
- Experienced trouble-shooter and user of relevant diagnostic tools
- An Engineering background with strong HTML, JavaScript & MS Excel skills
Required Candidate profile:
- Between 7 years and 10 years of hands-on SEO experience on desktop
- Experience with web content management platforms such as Drupal & WordPress
- Understanding of web site development techniques, responses, consumer journey and conversion optimization is preferred
- Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills
- Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Good at absorbing large amounts of information, with a general hunger for learning
- Innovative and creative, with a concise, precise and effective approach to problem solving
- Motivates, leads, and manages internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet our business objectives
