Senior Manager - Media planning (Practically)
About the Role:
Reporting to the VP -Marketing & Brand Strategy, this is a key position in the Brand team. We are looking for a well-experienced Media Manager to shape and execute effective advertising campaigns. An all-rounder with exposure across media - Digital, Social, TV and Radio. The job will be to identify and reach target audiences, as well as evaluate campaign success. To succeed in this role, one should be a skilled communicator and decision-maker who can collaborate well with various teams. Knowledge of market research and a willingness to follow media trends are essential. The goal will be to optimize media marketing campaigns (organic and inorganic) to increase brand awareness and help achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyzing data, thinking creatively and designing innovative strategies to make sure company's marketing campaigns reach their target audience in the most effective way possible.
- Assessing the impact and suitability of different media types used to target certain markets based on the company's needs and wants.
- Strategizing and Developing 360-degree media plans based on the company's objectives.
- Monitoring campaign closely to deliver results.
- Drive Post campaign refinements/learning.
- Interacting with internal and external partner/agencies to create, evaluate, implement, and maintain a media plan.
- Manage Brand Budgets
- Collecting and analysing information on different media channels, such as newspapers, radio, magazines, television, films, the Internet, and outdoor posters and digital billboards
- Creating or recommending certain media strategies to attract and retain customers, increase the client's brand recognition, and maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications for Media Planner- 7-10 years' experience as a media planner or similar role
- Proven experience as a Media Planner; experience in digital media is a must.
- Broad knowledge of media channels
- Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics, media buying & performance marketing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Working knowledge of analytics tools
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work on databases and spreadsheets, for the collection and management of information.
- Deeply analytical mind with an aptitude for statistics and maths. Excellent Excel Skills.
Qualifications:- MBA, Marketing (full time) from a premier institute
- B.E/ B.Tech, from a premier institute, preferred.
