Job Summary:

He/She will lead in putting a framework and implement best practices of SHE and develop a Safety first culture and emphasizes on SHE excellence. He/ She is responsible to strategies and lead SHE practice, systems, processes, and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's goals and strategic objectives in line with management philosophy.

Role:

The candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementation of policies on SHE that meet a high standard, lead in deploying SHE process and design practices to create a culture that puts HSE first and achieve customer confidence.

Job Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Create and lead the SHE first Culture across all operations of company.

- Develop and lead the globally accepted SHE framework and polices for Company across units.

- Benchmark SHE across the best in class within Industry globally and adoption/ leading implementation of the Best practices

- Adaption and prepare organization to be able to match customer expectations on SHE

- Building the SHE capability roadmap and implementation in terms of equipment and manpower globally.

- Sensitization of key stakeholders such as client, vendors, about SHE culture, roadmap, deliverable and results Salary

Year 1 Deliverable

- Every facility of the company to visibly embrace SHE benchmark and implement policy

- All customer for whom SHE matters should give us a five-star rating on SHE practice

Skills :

- Experience in multi-national company on SHE policy design and deployment

- Knowledge and experience on best practices including storage/handling of chemicals and operating knowledge of these policy and procedure.

- Deep understanding /experience implementing SHE process, engagement of all stake holders including employee.

- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex, decentralized and geographically diverse organizational structure

- Aware of latest trends and development in the field.

- Excellent networking, interpersonal skills as well as strong organizational skills and initiative

- Good communications skills, oral and written;

- Excellent problem solving skills;

- Positive attitude, Results oriented and tenacious

Qualifications / Experience

- Person should be from engineering background with degree in Safety. He should have good experience in storing and handling of various cargo including chemicals.

- 7 to 10+ years in progressive MNC reputed for good SHE practices
