1. Accomplishes warehouse operations human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
2. Responsible for overall warehouse operation management, seamless day to day operations management.
3. Responsible for inventory management in the store.
4. Establish SOPs and implementation of all SOPs across levels.
5. Maintains associate relations through regular department or pre- shift meetings; maintains on-going interaction; keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures; monitors associate morale; and submits and responds to ideas to improve associate engagement and enablement.
6. Drive continuous improvement in store operations and efficiency.
7. Suggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with the implementation of changes within inbound and outbound warehouse operations. Identifies problems, proposes solutions to other members of management and promotes cooperation with other departments.
8. At least 5-8 years of Operations experience.
9. 3-8 years of experience in people management
10. Field experience (BD, logistics etc) is a plus
11. Education from tier -1 schools (IITs, NITs)
12. MBA is a plus but not mandatory
