As Head of Distribution, you will:
- Deliver sales target for all products by executing the distribution strategy at the channel-partner level
- Ensure quality of acquisition through the distribution channel
- Plan promotional activities for channel partners - Track channel specific schemes and launches
- Coordinate overall supply chain in the zone for all distribution channel partners
- Achieve zonal revenue target for the distribution channel for all products
- Achieve sales expansion and retail penetration targets by identifying, appointing and monitoring distribution partners (distributors, recharge outlets, retailers) in new and existing areas
- Keep employee-retention and motivation levels high through regular reviews of performance of channel managers, retailers, off-roll sales representatives
- Ensure best-practices training and sound coaching to employees and distribution partners to enhance overall effectiveness
The Successful Applicant will have:
- P&L management skills
- Experience with distribution planning and channel implementation
- Leadership & people management skills
- Entrepreneurial individual who has the drive and vision to expand the business.
- Independent and self driven (can you go to work every day by yourself and get things done).
- Willing to work in an environment of uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Define systems and processes to scale the business up.
