It is a long term need of the organization to create forward and backward integration with our expertise in trading in commodity exchanges globally. Our focus is to become one of the market leaders in the global supply chain of agricultural products by connecting producers and users of agricultural commodities through origination, processing, marketing, distribution capabilities and services.

We are currently looking for International Trade Consultant who can define and execute the trade finance strategy for our import/export business.

Industry: Commodity Trading and Import/Export

Job Description:

Primarily responsible for managing the entire back office operations pertaining to setting up of International trade

- Responsible for co-ordination for International Trade documentation and transactions.

- Responsible for setting up of Import Export business – Licensing, Registration with export Promotion Councils, authorities, trade bodies etc.

- Export Marketing and Tie ups in various countries.

- Responsible for Fund management, Letter of Credits, Bank facilities etc.

- Responsible for getting back Export Incentives – DBK, DEPB, DFIA, EPCG, Indigenous, Sourcing under EPCG, Refund of TED, ADVANCE Authorization, SION Fixation/ Modification, Status Certificate etc.

- Responsible for compliance of schemes under – Served from India, Focus Product, Focus Market, VKGUY and Deemed Exports etc.

- Responsible for managing CHA, custom clearance.

- Responsible for custom duties, import-duties etc.

- Tracking of the transaction flow and undertaking compliances.

- Repatriation of Undrawn/ Outstanding/ Dead Export Proceeds &/or Settlement/Clearances from Reserve Bank.

- Responsible for opening Overseas Branch / Trading Offices/ WOS.

- Responsible for Pre & Post Shipment documentations/ Custom Clearances.

- Responsible for Joint Venture collaborations, Technology Transfer etc.

Experience

- Around 15-20 years of experience in Export & Import of Agro Commodities.

- Highly networked with top level contacts in all prime domestic and international banks.

- Thorough knowledge of the International law for subsidiaries in countries from where India is Importing and Exporting to. Should be well travelled.

- Thorough knowledge of the custom regulations in India and countries from where India is Importing and Exporting to.

- Should be well aware of the International Arbitration regulation.

Qualification & Skill Set

- Should be from a Legal Commercial background. Preferred a Company Secretory / LLB with sufficient experience in Export & Import.

- Should have experience in opening up subsideries on foreign soil.

- Should be well aware of the Import/Export documentation, process flow and Tarriff duties.

- Should be well aware of the FEMA guidelines.

- Should be capable of providing training in matters related to International Trade.

- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
