About Service Line
Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP (Deloitte FAS) provides advice to clients on critical financial events and transactions through the integrated service lines of Corporte Finance, Forensic and Dispute Services, Reorganization Services and Valuation Services.
Advisory provides a focused set of valuation consulting services to clients across a range of industry segments. Specific areas of focus include business & intangible asset valuation, cost segregation, machinery & equipment valuation, construction advisory, real estate financial advisory, and lease advisory services.
Our wholly-owned subsidiary (also referred to as Region 10 or "R10") at Hyderabad employs professionals who work closely with our US professionals to respond quickly and efficiently to the complex and diverse needs of our clients.
The Business valuation team performs valuations of business entities, intellectual property, intangible assets, common and preferred stock and other securities along with partnership interests. These services are provided to assist clients with mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, taxation planning and compliance, financial reporting in accordance with ‘US GAAP’ or ‘IFRS’ accounting stanadards and strategic planning.

Education
Graduation: B.Com/B.Tech
Post Graduation: MBA
Professional Qualification: CA/CPA/CFA
Others: Masters Degree required. Work experience should be post qualification
Work Experience
Total: 1 to 3 years
Relevant: 0 to 2 years
Specific Skill Sets Required
Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance concepts
Sound knowledge of valuation methodologies such as ‘DCF’, ‘Guideline Company’ and ‘Guideline transactions’ methods
Familiarity with using the Internet for data research; hands on experience with databases such as Factiva and Capital IQ, Bloomberg will be a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to effectively communicate with associates and managers in the US
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word
Job Purpose:
* To assist Deloitte US Valuation professionals in delivering quality service to US clients
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Supporting US project teams in providing financial consulting services relating to business valuation. The R10 team also assists in the valuation of intangible assets for regulatory, financial and tax purposes as a result of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures or financial restructuring
* Creating/assisting in creating financial models, analyzing financial statements, conducting industry research and writing reports
* Delivering high quality valuation work products and assisting other R10 team members when required
* Interacting with internal clients and communicating with associates and managers in the US
* Assisting internal clients on client development and practice development assignments
* Supervising work done by junior staff to ensure high quality of work products
* May need to work on other Deloitte FAS engagements
