Practice Consultant
Application Managed services practice within Manufacturing business unit is looking for a “Practice Consultant”, providing pre Sales support, driving solution design for large application support deals (AMS), enabling project teams to move up the Managed Services maturity curve. As a “Practice Consultant” you will be part of the next generation managed services and continue evolve innovation with delivery model and technology

In this you will be responsible for:
 - Responding to formal or informal Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from existing and prospective clients

 - Coordinate with organization’s front line sales, internal service lines and practices, account and support unit managers to formulate accurate and timely response to RFP/RFIs

 - Build good knowledge of Estimation Techniques and IT Service Management and Business Service Management Tools.

 - Responsible for stitching together the solution for large AMS RFPS

 - As an enabler of the Managed Services Framework, you will be expected to drive AMS programs to move up the process and tools maturity framework.

 - You will be responsible for enabling one or more accounts to meet the targets on Maturity levels and operational efficiency

 - Integrating with service lines and driving solutions along with service lines

 - Travel overseas now and then for customer presentations and handle customer visits within Bangalore and India locations

Profile requirements:
 - Overall experience of  8-10 years with at least 3 years experience in Presales/large program solution & delivery
 - Hands on, self driven, goal oriented, fast learner with high energy levels
 - Exposure application support delivery / knowledge
 - Good appreciation of existing/emerging Technologies and various Software Product trends and customer business
 - Ability to interact with customers and make effective presentations to customers is a MUST
 - Ability to think creatively and structure deals innovatively
 - Exposure to estimation techniques
 - Strong oral and written communication skills
 - Good networking skills
 - Conversant with ITIL principles
 - Prior experience in responding to RFP’s is desirable
 - Travel short term on consulting engagements
