Production Support Practice Leader - India @ Noida, India
Our client is a global IT consulting firm with a specialized focus in financial services and with Leadership position in Capital Markets and Securities space. They have deep domain knowledge and proven expertise in verticals like asset and wealth management, mortgages, reference data, securities financing, prime brokerage, derivatives, and compliance and risk. Range of services span the complete value chain, from high-end consulting to application outsourcing to product development to operations management.
With a long track record of proven results our client's model of specialization in the financial industry has yielded sustained year-on-year growth in earnings, profitability and market recognition. They operate in 8 countries with over 3000 employees. Outsourcing services are provided from three offshore centers in Noida, Bangalore and Manila and 'near-shore' centers in the US.
We are looking for following candidate for them.
Position : Production Support Practice Leader - India
Location : Noida
Education : Engg + MBA from Premier Institutes
Experience : 10 + Years

Job Specs:
- Sales support and pre-sales for Production Support opportunities in current accounts and new prospects
- Provide leadership in proposing effective solutions to the clients for support requirements. Incorporate latest developments of new technologies into solutions.
- Responsible for team formation, team building and mentoring
- Responsible for setting up the support processes for effective delivery
- Responsible for all production support delivery originating from Europe - optimizing programs, improving profitability & retention
- Ensure documentation of all technical queries, develop and review content for knowledgebase.
- Work directly with company and client support staff, quality assurance, the IT development team, the IT operations team, business analysts, business users, and management to resolve issues.
Requirements:
- At least 10+ years of work experience.
- At least 4+ years of prior experience with hands on project / program management in a production support role.
- At least 2+ years of hands on production support experience in investment banking / banking domains
- Should have worked in an Investment Bank or in a Services Company primarily servicing Capital Markets customers.
- Should have handled multiple IT Services engagements (24X7) of at least over 100+ resources primarily in Production Support
- Should have done SLA management for application production support
- Should have provided leadership to various teams of support analysts in terms of managing escalations, client engagement, defining processes and managing prioritizations.
- Should have provided leadership in identifying opportunities to increase the capabilities and productivity of the support teams through trainings, tools and other mechanisms.
Other skills desired:
- Excellent client management skills
- Self Motivated and aggressive
- Excellent consulting skills, should ideally have experience in a IT services firm (Not a product company)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills and experience in a customer facing environment
- Preferred past technical experience on databases and UNIX.
- Preferred past application experience should include platforms like Calypso, Summit, Actimize etc.
- Should have sound understanding of CMM/CMMi/Six Sigma processes.
- Knowledge of ITIL and security frameworks like SOX.
