Sourcing Executive (Job Description)
· To effectively manage the CAPEX/ Opex and supply chain at optimal cost across functions by ensuring the timely implementation of various projects aligning it with overall organization plan.
· All Capex / Opex purchase (Projects, Facilities, IT, R&D Equipments, Services). Negotiate, Finalise and placement of PO/contract, Selection and Evaluation of Vendor
· Manage the Wing-to-Wing process of “Procurement to Pay” by bringing in new initiatives and “Out of box Ideas”.
· Demonstrate leadership towards Strategic Sourcing… Spend Analytics-Reporting, Supplier Management, Contract Management, Warehouse and Logistics Management, Master Data Management, Procurement Dashboards, Supplier scorecards, Supplier Procurement Dashboards and Supplier Evaluation
· Efficiently work for Organizational Goal in areas of Compliance & Performance Management by conducting audits on PO Compliance, Purchase Service Agreements, Contractual Compliance, Supplier Invoice Accuracy, and report out results and suggest on process improvement if required
· Leading cost out projects by bringing in new concepts by clearly understanding the Customer CTQs on improving turn-around times on the OTR (Order to Receipt) process.
· Working with Cross-functional team… Legal, Finance, Facility, EHS for day- to day processes and bring in quick closures, which are related to sourcing CTQ.
· Should have fair knowledge on policies related to Foreign Trade, Customs regulations, Commercial taxes and Service Tax.
Qualifications & Experience
· Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate in Materials Management or SCM from a reputed university with good knowledge on Supply Chain activities in India with knowledge on indirect taxes & duties.
· 6+ years experience in any kind of Purchasing / Sourcing / Vendor Management/ Financial Processes and related fields.
· Good Analytical and data management skills
· Leadership Ability: Strong communication and people skills and ability to negotiate and articulate.
· Ability to learn and adapt to GE values/culture and work in a global environment.
· Team player, expected to effectively interact with global teams and multiple business functions
· Strong work ethics with uncompromising integrity
· Driven by quality, cost and speed of execution
· High energy and persistent, demonstrated edge, setting aggressive goals and targets
· Strong MS Office skills
