Solution Architect
Location : Mumbai
Qualification: MBA/MCA/BE/BTech/Degree(reputed universities)/PGDST
Work Experience: At least 7-10 years in Software Industry
* At least 4-7 years in Business intelligence
* At least 2 years experience in Software solution selling & Presales
Roles/Responsibilities:
* Will be responsible for presales of SAP BI Portfolio of solution ( more details on SAP EPM on http://www.sap.com/solutions/sapbusinessobjects/large/business-intelligence/index.epx)
* Manage Standard & customized Demo’s/POC’s/discovery calls/value engineering /RFI/RFP/Events/ Development of Industry specific demo’s for the BI Product portfolio
* Responsible for preparing for meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process
* Work with Sales Personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities. Ensure that Sales, Product Management and Development receive such support as they request
* Attendance at conferences and working with Subject Matter Experts, and research to stay on top of changes in business issues/requirements/ regulations / Technology and understand where the market is going.
* Responsible for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors.
* Production of responses to Requests for Information and Tenders.
* Responsible for providing feedback from the market to Product Management and Development regarding products including coordinating gaps between product functionality and market/customer demands.
* Responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with Product Management and Development on an on-going basis to stay current.
* Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc
IT Experiences/Ability :
* Concept know-how: Understanding of BI Concept and methodology.
* BI Product know-how: Some experience and skills in BI Tools (Business Objects/SAS/Cognos/ETL) and RDBMS/SAP BW
* Ability to understand data relationships and how data can be used to solve business problems
* Ability to multi-task and be able to represent multiple subjects and products
* Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements
* Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible.
Soft Skills:
* Excellent Presentation and communication skill sets
* Customer Centric solution selling and value & vision engineering as a trust advisor
* Able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences (including that of the CFO’s Office as well as the CIO’s office)
* Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
* Ability to understand business processes and business problems
* Strong analytical skills
