We have the following vacancy with us.
Designation- Manager - Purchase

GE Consumer & Industrial offers innovative solutions to meet customer needs
in Power Protection and Lighting systems. The company has a pan India
presence, with 4 regional offices, sales representation across India and two
manufacturing plants. C&I offers solutions to customers in several segments
that include power sector, core infrastructure like marine establishments,
airports, highways, heavy and light industries, IT & ITES infrastructure,
healthcare, commercial and residential segments. This role is for North
position.Some of the products that will be handled are Low Voltage Power
Protection (Circuit breakers, Switchgear, Fusegear, Controlgear, Final end
distribution products, Power capacitors)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Planning & Procurement of Material
- People Management
- Costing of Panels & Good Negotiating Skills
- Co ordination with Suppliers / Customer Engg & Manufacturing for day to
day Issues
- Stores Management
- Inventory Management
- Cost out Initiatives
- Knowledge of Oracle & ERP environment
- Procurement of Electrical parts for Panel manufacturing (PCC & MCC)
- Knowledge of Local Taxes and Duties including Import procedures
- Experience in Project Purchases
Qualification-.
Shall be a Graduate (BE)holder in Electrical Engineering with an experience
of 8 to 10 years in Procurement activity in an engineering industry,
preferably electrical switchgear (low & medium voltage) with a reputed
organization.Experience in setting up processes and efficient running the
Team.
Location- Bangalore
Salary- Negotiable
