Valuation Analyst Job Description - Entry Level

Role and Responsibilities:
— The role of a Valuation Analyst is to support the Investment Banking Division as it provides it’s
Clients with advice and services in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Financings and generic
strategic advice. The broad range of responsibilities offer the successful candidates an excellent start to their career in Investment Banking with comprehensive training, broad exposure and access to a first class network for career advancement.
— The Valuation Analyst will work integrally with the Global Investment Banking Division
— S/he will work on client pitches and live deals being part of a global team
— Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
− Creation, maintenance, and analysis of basic and advanced company valuation models
− Creation, maintenance and analysis of generic and specific company, industry and market overviews
− Researching and analyzing specific company financial information and fundamentals, including uncovering and documenting accounting and finance issues
— S/he will interact frequently with bankers in different regions – live and offline

Qualification and Experience
— Chartered Accountant (CA) or Masters in Finance or a Masters In Business Administration (MBA)
with Finance as Major
— 0 to 2 years of post qualification experience, compulsorily with a “Big-4 Audit Firm” or a
multinational or a large Indian conglomerate
