Valuation Analyst Job Description - Lateral

Role and Responsibilities:
— The role of a Valuation Analyst is to be an integral part of the Investment Banking teams as they
provide clients with high-quality strategic advice and creative financing solutions, including
mergers, acquisitions, financing, and risk management.
— S/he will work on client pitches and live deals as part of a global team often being the sole/primary analyst on the team
— The comprehensive training, broad range of responsibilities, exposure and access to a first class

— Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
− Creation, maintenance, and analysis of basic and advanced company valuation models
− Creation, maintenance and analysis of generic and specific company, industry and market
overviews
− Researching and analyzing specific company financial information and fundamentals
— S/he will interact frequently with bankers in different regions – live and offline
Qualification and Experience
— Chartered Accountant or Masters in Finance or Masters in Business Administration with Finance as Major from the tier 1 institutes
— 1 to 3 years of relevant post qualification experience, compulsorily within Investment Banking /
Transaction Services division of a global financial institution
