Head - Sales Response for an IT Company @ Pune
Our client is a globally focused software and services company spread across eighteen countries. They provide end-to-end services from IT development to Business Process Outsourcing, from consulting to implementation. With more than 5000 associates and sales and operations presence across US, UK, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Middle East, South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan and Poland, the Company delivers comprehensive services in mission-critical applications, enterprise applications, e-business, BPO Services.
Our client is the world's first enterprise-wide SEI CMM Level 5 Company and now a CMMI Level 5 Company with industry expertise that spans across Utilities, Retail and Distribution, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, Manufacturing and Telecommunications.
We are looking for a PreSales Head for them as per JD below.
Position: Head – Sales Response ( PreSales Head )
Location : Pune
Job Description / Responsibilities :
1. In charge and accountable for providing support to the sales teams to help acquire new customers.
2. Manage bids independently and ensure quality proposals through coordination with all stakeholders.
3. Ensure case studies are current
4. Ensure on call and ad-hoc information support to the sales teams globally (GTS)
Skills and experience
1. Prior experience in sales response ( PreSales ) function
2. Must have been in software delivery for at least 8 years and with at least 2 years as project manager
3. Must have exposure to international operations
4. Must possess very good written and oral communication skills
5. Must have a minimum of 16 + years experience.
6. Technically sound with demonstrated expertise in software projects efforts estimation (experience FPA, COCOMO I and II, RUP based estimation techniques is most desirable)
7. Must be a cool-headed and patient operator with high-degree of service orientation.
8. Education - Engg / MBA from good Institutes
