The Firm: A large consulting firm is looking for Associate Director for its Industrial Markets practice at the Mumbai office.
Some of the key sectors of focus for the Industrial Markets Team are:
1. Automobiles
2. Pharmaceuticals
3. Manufacturing
The Role:
The person would be primarily required to build relationships with large companies and deepen relationships and cross-sell to existing client - essentially, business development and client mining. The person would also provide thought leadership to define the future direction of the firm in this space. The role may also involve contact with business media (television and print) and with corporate associations, such as CII, FICCI, etc. so as to build on the strong presence that the firm enjoys in this field.
The Individual (Skills and Competence required):
To be part of the team, the individual should have:
· Experience in relationship building with large auto / pharma / manufacturing players
· Strong and well rounded business and macro economic understanding
· High level of strategic and creative thinking
· Have strong soft skills like; interpersonal skills, team skills, communication skills - both verbal and written
· Have the ability to work under pressure – extended working hours and constant travel
Education Background & Work Experience:
· MBA (full time) from premier business schools.
· 10 + years of relevant experience in selling to Auto / Pharma / Manufacturing majors
