Job Description:
Consumer & Market Research : --
Conduct / supervise the consumer research process. Interpret / extrapolate research results and integrate the feedback from diverse sources [including trade] for a holistic understanding of consumers' usage, attitudes etc.
Consumer Innovation : --
Drive innovation for competitive advantage at all stages of the consumer behavior process viz Consumer Understanding ,Consumer Insights ,Brand / product concepts ,Brand awareness / knowledge ,Brand purchase ,Brand feedback & repeat purchase. Uncover consumer insights from consumer understanding / consumer analysis leading to innovative segmentation. Convert winning insights to meaningful concepts / propositions
Consumer & Customer Interaction : --
Liaise with R&D for idea generation and consumer feedback keeping marketing in loop. Macro Trend Identification, Extrapolation. Understand the effect of competitive actions on own consumer franchise. Discern / understand the complete consumer purchase process for different consumer segments
Consumer Franchise, Brand Equity, Strategic Planning Establish processes for measurement & tracking of important brand equity / consumer franchise parameters as well as brand value / drivers
Customer Marketing support : --
Providing research related support on all research requirements of the marketing team (all tracks and panels, adhoc research etc.) Assisting the marketing team in better understanding of the market, thus facilitating more robust long range planning as well as operating plans.
