Position: Research Analyst (Telecom/Retail/ Pharma)
Location: Delhi NCR
Position Summary:
Research Analyst (RA) is an integral part of the company's
consulting process. The primary objective of the RA is to enhance the
company's delivery to the client through providing consulting teams
with targeted information and facts as well as company's
Intellectual Capital corresponding the needs of the client. To achieve
this, the RA is expected to make an impact in three main areas: Client
Service, Client Development, and Information Resource Development.
Skills & Education Required:
§ A Masters degree in Business / Economics or Information
§ A minimum of one year experience in the consulting or similar
business environment
§ Highly effective communication skills
§ Proven ability to work with consulting and research teams
§ Comfortable with basic business, economic and financial concepts;
able to use and interpret numeric data.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Working together with client engagement teams providing targeted,
organized and synthesized information to facilitate the problem-solving,
as well as company's Intellectual Capital corresponding the needs of
the client team
§ Helping the consultants in refining and focusing their information
needs and advising the consultants about the alternative search
methodologies and related costs while also managing their expectations
§ Proactively performing analysis on potential clients and alerting
consultants to emerging topics and issues with existing and potential
clients
§ Providing targeted current awareness and alert services to
selected consultants and teams
§ Solving information requests demonstrating quantitative skills and
ability to identify basic patterns, trends and insights in research
results
§ Connecting quickly the consulting teams with highly relevant
experts within company who can add value to the client situation and
interviewing them on the consultants' behalf
§ Facilitating the collection, collation and sharing of the
Intellectual Capital
§ Evaluating, recommending and promoting new sourcing of information
§ Training and coaching consultants and other staff members about
the usage of Internet, intranets and other electronic source available
to the whole staff.
