Background :
The co. has been mandated by Government of Karnataka for Implementation of their Textile Policy, Suvarna Vastra Neethi (2008-2013). The implementation of the policy would include development of the textile sector from an all round perspective, right from development of related textile infrastructure to skill development in the sector. Project development would include development of Textile Parks and relevant common infrastructure for the industry in various identified locations and imparting of skills and employment generation
While the position is being filled in for the specific mandate, the incumbent will be expected to work on other areas as may be decided by the supervisor from time-to-time on other businesses of the Company either in Karnataka or outside
Job Description : The incumbent would be responsible for:
• preparing / appraising Project concept notes / detailed project report,
• communicating with various industry stakeholders for seeking relevant inputs as may be required by internal / external clients
• liasioning with state government and other important institutions/ agencies for development of new projects
• financial analysis, preparation of Business Plan, Financial Modeling and comprehensive report writing.
• providing inputs for / preparation of bid documents for developing projects in PPP format
• assistance in legal documentation
• assisting and guiding the team engaged for the various projects undertaken
• co-ordinating with the other group companies to provide better value constellation to the clients
• assisting in business development initiatives such as preparation of proposals
Specific demands on the job : Job would demand travel within Karnataka for project development
Specific skills
• Good interpersonal skills,
• Good Report writing, Presentation & Oral communication skills
• Strong concepts in fundamental financial analysis and PPP concepts
• Ability to grasp finer aspects of business dynamics and present it in a cogent form to the financial community
• Proficiency in speaking and reading Kannada is essential
Remuneration expected : upto 6lacs depending on skills and experience of the candidate.
