Role: Regional Supply Planner
Description: The Toner regional supply planner would have the primary responsibility of generating the regional dependent demand signal (DDS) in APO that will eventually drive the region’s requirement plans to supplier. He/she would be the primary liaison between region and WW planning teams and the single point of contact within the region for disseminating availability and inventory information.
Key activities:
1. Making appropriate demand adjustments to marketing forecast in APO DP 2. Regional demand signal generation in APO 3. Maximize availability for a given service level by appropriately managing/reviewing the safety stock policy 4. Transit mode optimization to maximize availability within budget 5. Manage regional postponement activities 6. Leading regional Category Ops calls and disseminate availability and inventory information 7. Taking the Supply planning lead for entire region and driving supply-demand transformation 8. Be the planning fulcrum in liaising with regional operations partners including logistics, warehouse operations and third party service providers 9. Drive cost-reduction initiatives and process improvement projects with tangible business impact
Key Performance Areas: 1. Product Availability for a defined service level 2. Inventory reduction
- Desired Skill set/competence: 1. Demonstrated competence in planning process framework with 3-5 years of planning exposure 2. Exposure to ERP systems and specifically APO DP/SNP modules 3. Strong operations knowledge with ability to grasp supply chain interlinkages 4. Prior experience in working with global/cross functional teams a strong plus 5. Ability to work under ambiguity/insufficient information
